Badges | Free Mint Claim

Badges are Nakano’s version of an “OG Pass” that most other projects have. There are 3 types of badges: Recruit, Loyalist and Captain.

Recruit's Badge

500 Recruit Badges were minted on August 12th 2022 with a mint price of 6₳.

Loyalist's Badge

250 Loyalist Badges were airdropped to a handpicked group of people in the CNFT community towards the end of June 2022.

Captain's Badge

100 Captain Badges will be airdropped to a select group of Nakano NFT holders post mint of our main collection.

Free Mint Claim

Initially we thought a good idea would be to offer a “Free Mint” as a badge utility. Which is definitely a great thing to be able to receive. But, for most in the space that worry about Floor Price, this had to be reassessed to keep a healthy floor price during mint.

The reason we’re stressing this is that some things played out in the space recently and it's been proven that Free Mints have a negative impact on the floor price. So, to combat that issue, we’ve decided to allow the Free Mints to be claimable 1 - 2 days after we launch our mint!

To help avoid dumping the free Nakano NFTs that are claimed during our claim portal window and leading to damaging the floor price, we've made the mint a reveal type & added "bounty traits" that pay in ADA.
